Prayer and Sage Circle at Haji Healing Salon

What Does Healing in our hoods mean? The answers vary depending on who's speaking, and every voice deserves to be heard. That's how we heal. And when we speak our truth, it should be followed be action and that action leads to transformation. Every Solidarity Heals gathering opens in collective prayer as we burn sage and copal in unison. This month's prayer circle was held outside of Haji Healing Salon on 44th and Cottage in Chicago's Bronzeville commUNITY. We prayed with elders, teens and youth...we sang and celebrated our privilege as prayer warriors in the community and blessed our streets! We gave away healing teas, herbal tinctures, tons of sage, crystals, food, mental health resources and peace tees compliments of Haji Healing Salon and the "We Care" Van.
